“BANG!!” is one of my favorite linocut projects. My ultimate goal with this piece was to create something playful and to incorporate elements and characters from illustrations I had done.

After coming back from Vietnam a second time with photographs of temples and buddhas from Tây Ninh, Tan Chau, and Can Tho, I used them as references for several drawings and other works, one of them being this linocut print of a buddha from Tây Ninh City that sat at the top of a mountain.
